Selena Gomez Reveals She Has Stopped Vaping Nicotine As She Opens Up About Its Impact On Her Voice
On Sunday, Selena Gomez took to her Instagram Story with a message about vaping nicotine and the impact it has had on her voice. The singer admitted that she frequently vaped nicotine in the past and warned others about how difficult quitting can be.
“I’m not going to be able to change my voice,” Gomez said. “I vaped nicotine a lot. Nicotine is so hard to quit, and I think I just wanted to say, if you’re going through it, or if you’re even trying to vape, it’s just not worth it. It’s so stupid, and it’s changed my voice.”
Selena also addressed those who have criticized her voice, making it clear that she understands if people dislike how she sounds.“So if you guys don’t like listening to my voice, that’s totally understandable. I don’t mind. Just don’t listen to it. Just don’t listen,” she said.
The singer ended her message by revealing that she has stopped vaping and hopes to continue staying away from nicotine.
“I am really excited because I stopped, and I hope I can keep it up. It’s really hard, but know if you are going through something, you can get through it too. It sucks,” she added.

Selena Gomez Shares Nostalgic Moment As She Celebrates Mental Health Awareness At Rare Impact Fund Benefit
Aside from the conversations questioning Selena Gomez’s looks and voice, sis has still been stepping out and serving looks!
Last week, the singer attended her annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit, celebrating six years of making mental health resources more accessible to young people. Following the event, Selena shared an Instagram post thanking everyone who continues to support her mission and reflecting on its impact.
She also emphasized the importance of making mental health resources accessible and reminding young people that they are never alone.
Her caption read:
“Six years of making mental health resources more accessible for young people. Last night at the Rare Impact Fund Benefit, I looked around the room and felt so grateful to be surrounded by so many people who also believe in this mission. We started the Rare Impact Fund with a simple hope: that young people would have better access to care, more places where they feel understood, and more people who know how to show up when it matters. I’m so proud of the community that has grown around it. To our nonprofit partners who do this work every day, and to everyone who joined us last night and continues to stand behind them: thank you. A special thank you to our sponsors – @rarebeauty, @afterpayusa, @batchandbox, @lululemon, @pacsun, @ultabeauty – for making this night possible, and to @seanhayes, @itsbellakayy, @leonbridges, and @rae.sada for sharing their time and talent with us.
I hope everyone who asks for help knows they’re never alone, and that there will always be someone there to listen, support them, and remind them they matter. ❤️”
Selena also stunned in a sparkly red dress with matching heels, giving fans a nostalgic moment.
She shared footage of her look on TikTok while playing the Jonas Brothers’ 2008 hit song ‘Burnin’ Up.’ The moment caught attention because her ex, Nick Jonas, reportedly sang the song’s famous “High heels, red dress” lyrics about her.
