TSR Foodies: Wendy’s took a break from its usual Twitter roasting to share some good news with its followers! The fast food chain has just announced it will be giving out free four piece nuggets at every one of its drive-thru locations.
In a tweet, Wendy’s says it was so inspired by the love people are showing amid the coronavirus pandemic, the restaurant chain has decided to show its customers some love too!
Not gonna lie, all this love y’all are showing has inspired us. We wish we could give you a hug, but instead…how about a nug? This Friday, we’ll be giving out free 4pc spicy and crispy nugs at every Wendy’s drive-thru.

There have been some mixed reviews about the kind gesture, though. Some folks say the free nuggets are definitely not worth the chance of catching the ‘rona, and others say they’ll be lining up for a chance to grab whatever’s free!
The fast food chain is has also been trying to spread some positivity to Twitter users, as people are struggling to through the COVID-19 pandemic.
