Roommates, following the record-breaking Verzuz battle between R&B stars Brandy and Monica, many fans still can’t get enough and are continuing to express their love for the ladies. One of those people includes Joe Budden—who apparently loves more than Brandy’s music and appears to be putting in his bid to hopefully be the next man in her life.
The Brandy and Monica Verzuz battle was an epic showdown 20 years in the making and fans are still riding high on the magical moment. Joe Budden, who has previously expressed his love for Brandy, has now taken things a step further by openly stating that he wants to be the man Brandy needs.
During a recent interview on his podcast with Brandy’s brother Ray J, Joe Budden shifted talk from her music and asked Ray J if Brandy was single and what type of man she is looking for. Ray J responded that he wants Brandy to be with a “nice, wholesome guy” and Joe quickly stated that he was the one.

However, he wasn’t done, and proceeded to also state that he’s always loved Brandy—and told Ray J to let her know that he’s ready and waiting. This is a bit of light-hearted news involving Joe Budden, who is currently in the middle of some very serious controversy involving domestic abuse.
His ex-girlfriend Tahiry Jose recently confirmed that Joe was extremely physically abusive to her during their lengthy relationship, revealing that he broke her nose, fractured her rib and threw her down the stairs.
