Roomies, if anything you can bet on Will Smith to tell a lil jokey joke! This time Will made himself the subject. On Sunday, the multi-talented actor made a candid and revealing Instagram post regarding his physical appearance.
The post consists of a single photo prominently featuring Will standing in center frame. There’s no true indicator of his location. However, the pictured background shows plenty of greenery with a huge tree, bright grass and fallen leaves surrounding Will. Also pictured is some kind of dock in the far right, upper corner.
Will appears to be mid-sentence as his right arm is swung upwards in a gesture-like manner. His face has a humorous expression with a captured half-open mouth. Will is pictured wearing all-black shorts paired with black, closed-toe shoes. He is also seen shirtless under an unzipped, blue, white and black hoodie.
“I’m gonna be real wit y’all – I’m in the worst shape of my life,” Will wrote as the caption.
He seemed to be poking fun at his upper body, which looks to be less muscular than fans might be used to seeing. Although the change isn’t huge, Will still offered his spontaneous commentary.
By late Monday night, the picture had made its social media rounds and collected a fair share of media headlines. The original post had collected more than 55,000 comments and over four million likes.

It’s not uncommon for Will to receive high engagement on his social media posts. The mega star boasts an Instagram following of more than 52 million, while only following 191 folks himself. Just last week, he reposted a side-by-side photo comparing a press photo of himself and a badly drawn version of the same photo. The photo’s caption jokingly asked people to send a message to get professional portraits done. Will captioned his repost saying “serious inquiries only.” That post garnered over one million likes and nearly 23,000 comments.
