Throwback To When Stephen A. Smith Had Words For Serena
Back in February, Serena Williams made a surprise cameo during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance, hitting the c-walk during the track ‘Not Like Us,’ a song many saw as a shot at her alleged ex, Drake. The internet lit up, but it was Stephen A Smith who had a lot to say the day after the show. On ‘First Take,’ the 57-year-old commentator criticized Williams’ decision to appear in the performance, saying:
“If I’m married and my wife is going to join trolling her ex, go back to his a**. ‘Cause clearly you don’t belong with me. What you worried about him for and you’re with me? Bye. Bye.”

What Exactly Did Alexis Ohanian Clear?
When Alexis Ohanian pulled up to ‘First Take,’ he didn’t let the moment slide. With Stephen A Smith’s video-calling into the segment, Ohanian smoothly brought up the commentator’s bold marriage take from back in February. Alexis said, “Stephen A., I think you had some marriage advice for me.” Smith tried to laugh it off, calling it “headlines,” but Ohanian pressed on, noting, “I was hoping you were going to be here.” Smith, realizing he was outmatched, admitted, “Marriage advice? No, I’m not qualified.”
The Reddit co-founder then delivered a calm but cutting reminder:
“I give advice to plenty of founders who want to build billion-dollar companies… because I build billion-dollar companies, so I generally try to stay in my lane,” Ohanian said.

But, Ohanian wasn’t done clearing the air. He also fired back at Jason Whitlock, who had previously labeled him “a true beta.” Whitlock also questioned why he was mad at him instead of his wife “C*** walking and still thinking about Drake.” Ohanian’s clapback was surgical: “I get it—you’re 57, and life didn’t turn out the way you imagined… You’re the embodiment of peaked in high school.” He even encouraged Whitlock to “start working on him,” and added, “If you wake up every morning trying to be a little better… you won’t have time for irrational hating — you’ll be too busy winning.”
