Kimora & Ming Share Warm Birthday Messages For Aoki: “Cheers To 21!”
Aoki celebrated her 21st trip around the sun on Wednesday (Aug. 16), and her proud momma — Kimora Lee Simmons — acknowledged the occasion with a sweet Instagram post.
Beneath an array of photos, Kimora shared a lovely message for her second-born daughter.
“I’m so super proud of you! I know you’ve been through A LOT and God has kept you and us all covered. From graduating from HARVARD at 21(!!!) to paving your path in New York City modeling! You’re doing it all!”
We also have to point out that Kimora hinted at some exciting pursuits coming Aoki’s way, as she noted, “It’s all paying off for you and that is evidenced by the exciting news coming that we will soon share!”
The mother of five wrapped up her message by writing, “I got you forever! Cheers to 21!”
As for Aoki’s older sister, Ming Lee Simmons, she commemorated the occasion by sharing a throwback pic and writing, “happy 21st to my smush.”
Russell Simmons Posts A Message For His “Dearest” Aoki
Aoki Lee Simmons’ father, Russell Simmons, also shared a public message on the eve of her special day. Although the pair recently had a back-and-forth over accusations of harassment and financial abuse, Russell was sure to send her “all of [his] love” on her birthday.
After reminiscing about her childhood, Russell said she’s “very ready to face this next chapter of [her] life.”
