Ari Lennox Has An Uplifting Message For Black Women & Talks About The Advantages Of Wearing Wigs Following Snoop Dogg’s Comment About Her Hair

If anyone has seen Ari Lennox on Instagram Live, then you’re pretty aware that she is definitely entertaining to watch. Whether she’s flexing her amazing vocals, or just joking around with fans, her lives are lit. This is why, recently when she tried to apply a lace front wig to her head, it was no surprise she shared the process with fans and even took some pointers from them.

As we previously reported, Snoop Dogg stepped into The Shade Room, and commented on Ari’s hair and said, “Grow your own hair, what happened to those days.”

She then clapped back at him by posting a photo of him dressed as his character Todd, which is his white alter ego. Ari then said, “Uncle I just…I just thought we had an understanding…”

Ari then went on Instagram Live again to deny a claim she had backed Snoop earlier this year. She asked those who made that claim to show her the video, then she went on to say that they couldn’t because the video doesn’t exist.

She then went on to share some uplifting words for black women. She said, “Black women are the sh*t! We’re f*cking amazing, gorgeous beings and I think it’s amazing the versatility that we possess and I think it’s pretty telling because there’s so many cultures and it’s just different ethnicities that are inspired by us.”

She continued to speak about the reasons why women decide to wear wigs. Some of those reasons being because they serve as a protective hairstyle, or simply because some women suffer from alopecia, or they are battling cancer, or they’re just having a hard time growing their hair.

Roommates, what are your thoughts?
