We all know that ASAP Rocky had a life-changing experience after he served some time behind bars in Sweden earlier this year. This month he is scheduled to make a return to the country for the first time since he’s been released from jail.
He has been very vocal about helping out the inmates in Sweden after his experience over the summer. As we previously reported, he was set on designing new uniforms for the inmates.
Last week, it was announced that he would not be able to perform for the inmates when he returns to Sweden. On Monday, he took to social media to express how he still wants to raise awareness to those who are locked up in outside areas.
He said, “Even when I’m denied access to donate or perform for the inmates in Sweden, I still want to raise awareness for the immigrants and poor people of the outside surrounding areas. This has been a difficult journey, but I feel it’s my task to give back to people who supported me when I was down.”

As many of you already know, back in July he was involved in an altercation while in Sweden and he was accused of assault, which caused him to be locked up behind bars for an extended amount of time. Things ended with him being found guilty of assault, however, he was not ordered to serve any additional jail time.
He first announced his return to Sweden last month.
