Senator #BernieSanders says he plans to run for President again in 2020 if he thinks hes the best candidate to beat #Trump.
He revealed this in an interview with @nymag when he said, If theres somebody else who appears who can, for whatever reason, do a better job than me, Ill work my a** off to elect him or her…But if it turns out that I am the best candidate to beat Donald Trump, then I will probably run.
Sanders was one of the front runners for the Democratic party in the 2016 presidential election and was a favorite among social activists and celebrities including #ChrisBrown, #MileyCyrus, #TI and #RaeSremmurd. He ultimately lost the bid to #HillaryClinton in the Democratic primaries.
Apparently Sanders made similar remarks last week when he said his team was looking at the possibility of a 2020 run. Whats clear is Sanders believes Trump MUST be defeated.
He has often described himself as a democratic socialist and has been one of Trumps most outspoken critics. He referred to Trump as the most racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted president in history.
