Bernie Sanders is the most recent target of the drama, as he has had to speak out in regards to some shade he allegedly threw at #ElizabethWarren. The rumors allege that Bernie said he did not believe a woman could win the presidential race, and he says it was all a LIE, CNN reports.

“It is ludicrous to believe that at the same meeting where Elizabeth Warren told me she was going to run for president, I would tell her that a woman couldn’t win,” Bernie said.

The rumors stem from a meeting between Bernie and Elizabeth back inn 2018, where the two discussed possibly running against each other for president despite being friends.

Four people reportedly described the meeting, claiming they discussed how to best take on Donald Trump, and agreed they would remain civil and avoid attacking one another.

“What I did say that night was that Donald Trump is a sexist, a racist, and a liar who would weaponize whatever he could do. Do I believe a woman can win in 2020? Of course! After all, Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump by 3 million votes in 2016. ”

One of Elizabeth Warren’s growing concerns is the idea that she needed to change her demeanor in order to be more likable to people because she is a woman.

“Over and over, we are told that women are not allowed to be angry. It makes us unattractive to powerful men who want u to be quiet,” Warren wrote in a campaign email. “I am angry and I own it.”
