Candiace Dillard Bassett of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ is speaking her mind regarding the recent cheating controversy surrounding Juan and Robyn Dixon. Bassett is making it clear that she “felt bamboozled!”

She Says Chris Bassett Was Blasted While There Was ‘A Real Scandal Afoot’
During Sunday night’s episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,’ Bassett addressed Dixon, Gizelle Bryant, and Ashley Darby for helping to keep the rumors under wraps.
Specifically, she was asked to share her “reaction to finding out Robyn — and Gizelle and Ashley — knew about the rumors surrounding Juan all last season and never brought them up.”

In response, Bassett humorously declared that she “wanted to eat [her] shoe.” The “Drive Back” singer also proclaimed, “I was, like, flabbergasted, and I felt bamboozled.”
She elaborated on her reaction and pointed out that rumors about her husband, Chris Bassett, were put on blast while Juan was let off scot-free as the season was filmed.
“How can you all carry this fake story about Chris across the United States and back when you know that there is a real scandal afoot in Potomac?”
Candiace Bassett Says Porsha Williams Throws ‘Passive-Aggressive’ Shade Before Dishing On How They Made Up
Aside from the Juan Dixon situation, Bassett also addressed some of her on-screen drama with Porsha Williams. The conflict has actively been playing out on Peacock’s ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.’
In fact, as The Shade Room previously reported, Bassett and Williams have been BUSY going at it!
Regarding the difference between their arguing styles, Bassett noted that Williams was “being passive-aggressive” while she, personally, tried to be “direct” with her own reads.
“Porsha was being passive-aggressive with hers. I was very direct, like, ‘Hey! Here’s my shade tree. I’m coming in to smack you with it.’ You knew it was coming. Porsha’s was like, ‘I’m a nice girl.’ Then BOOM, ‘No I’m not.'”
However, despite them butting heads on ‘RHUGT,’ Candiace said she and Porsha ended on good terms. She also noted that their main issue was sparked over Porsha’s friendship with Monique Samuels, though they talked through it.
“We didn’t really have big issues…We talked about it, we kind of got over it, and—beyond that—I’m a vibes person. And Porsha’s a fun vibe.”
Candiace pointed out that she attended Porsha and Simon Guobadia’s American-themed wedding. Meanwhile, Monique was at Porsha’s Nigerian-themed wedding, so it all worked out peacefully in the end!
