Chanel Iman and Davon Godchaux are sharing the first photos of their newborn daughter, Capri Summer. As The Shade Room previously reported, the couple, who are engaged, welcomed their first child together on September 19.
Additionally, Iman is a mother to two older daughters from her previous marriage to NFL player Sterling Shepard. Godchaux fathers a son from an earlier relationship.

Chanel Iman & Davon Godchaux Reveal Their Newborn Daughter
The couple took to Instagram on Monday to share a joint post. The post featured six photos of their newborn baby girl, some of which also included Iman.
In the first photo, the newborn was seen wearing a flower headband and swaddled in a pink blanket as she posed for the camera. In the second photo, Capri Summer appeared next to her mother as the two looked contently into the camera. The third photo featured a close-up shot of the newborn as she lay with her eyes closed, swaddled in a white blanket, and rocking another headband adorned with flowers and pearls.
The final photos featured a closeup shot of Capri Summer, another alongside her mother, and a last picture of her in the pink ensemble.
Additionally, the couple also shared a brief caption alongside the photos of their newborn.
“One of the greatest gift in life is bringing you into this world👼🏽 We love you so much Capri ❤️”

As the day continued, the mother of three shared additional photos from Capri Summer’s first shoot. One featured Iman and her older daughters, Cassie, three years old, and Cali, five years old.

Iman then shared another photo of Capri Summer.

A Brief Look Back On Chanel Iman & Davon Godchaux’s Relationship & Engagement
As The Shade Room previously reported, Iman was previously married to NFL player Sterling Shepard for four years. However, Shepard filed for divorce in 2021.
Iman and Godchaux reportedly went public with their relationship in April 2022, per US Weekly. Then, in May, the couple revealed they were expecting their first child together.
