Five months after breakup rumors surrounded Cher and Alexander “A.E.” Edwards — 77 and 37, respectively — the songstress says they’re still enjoying their time together!

Cher Calls Alexander Edwards A “Beautiful” & “Special” Man
The “Believe” singer shared her commentary during a sit-down with PEOPLE, and she hyped her boo up after remarking that she was “not surprised” by the public’s interest in their relationship.
As The Shade Room reported, the pair were spotted holding hands last November, and backlash prompted Cher to declare that she was enjoying the moment and “not blinded” by her feelings.
Now, Cher is suggesting that her “beautiful” and “way younger” man still has her full attention!
“Alexander’s got diamond teeth, tattoos, white hair, and he’s way younger. He’s a beautiful man.”
As far as the backlash goes, Cher declared, “I think it’s fun to be interested in somebody else’s love life!”
She went on to say that A.E. is “special” before noting that she “love[s] being with him.” Cher also called him “fun” while acknowledging, “I’ve had the best time.”
“I hate when people say people are special, but lots of people say I’m special, so I can say that he’s special. No matter what happens, I love being with him. He makes me laugh, and we have fun. What I learned is that it’s never too late. If you wrote out all the statistics, you would go, ‘Well, this is doomed.’ But we’ve been together a year, and if it was just a year, it would’ve been worth it. I’ve had the best time.”
The Singer Notes That She & A.E. Are Collabing Together While Living “In The Moment”
Continuing, Cher said that she’s cherishing the pair’s “happiness” and trying to “live in the moment.” She also shared that she’s focusing on the vibes as opposed to worrying about “how long it’s going to last.”
“If you have happiness, you can’t think about how long it’s going to last. You have to think about ‘How does it feel?’ and live in the moment.”
In addition to Cher and A.E. enjoying their time together, the artist notes that they’re collaborating on a track called “Drop Top Sleigh Ride,” which will be featured on her upcoming holiday album.
Regarding their experience working together, Cher said it was “a hard thing to do” at first, though it all worked out since A.E.’s “a great producer.”
“He’s a great producer. I let him do ‘Drop Top Sleigh.’ That’s a hard thing to do when you are in love with someone and then you say, ‘OK, here, take this record and do what you want with it.'”
She added, “I had faith. And I was so thrilled.”
