In anticipation of her big day on March 17, she took to social media to preview some NEW looks. Shields switched her usual dark-colored, long braids and curls for a few surprising hairstyles. From a curled bob to blonde tresses, Claressa Shields and her stylists pulled out all the stops for her birthday shoot. Footage reposted by The Shade Room shows the boxer in at least three hairstyles as she takes fans “behind the scenes.” One hairstyle shows Claressa wearing long, blond, deep-wave curls. The edges were laid, and the makeup was givin’ glitz and glam, from her shimmery eyeshadow to her pink blush.
“Yeah, Big GWOAT turning 30 on you ho*s. Thought I was going to be 20-something forever didn’t you. We all age, but we all just look good as we age. Y’all know I ain’t never did no blond before, but I had to give y’all a different look because a b***h is rich now. I’m in my Beyoncé era,” Claressa Shields said with a lil’ laugh.
A second look showed Claressa rocking a short black bob with a side part and swoop and flipped ends. Let’s just say volume was not missing in action in that hairstyle. Claressa & Papoose Share A Birthday Month
While Claressa is getting ready to enter her 30s, her man Papoose is on his third-to-last lap of his 40s. Last week, Shields bragged about her “king” in celebration of his 47th birthday. She penned a loving message for Pap on social media on his born day, March 5. It’s unclear whether they celebrated the day together and, if so, what they did.
“So grateful for your life, your laugh, your music, your guidance, your love! You are truly 1 of 1! I pray God bless you with many more years & even quicker hands cause today you getting all your bday punches. I love you. Happy Birthday Papi,” Shields wrote amid a ton of emojis.
Pap returned the loving energy in her comment section, writing, “She’s not joking about the birthday punches y’all. I don’t want no smoke. Words can’t describe my appreciation. You’re more than amazing baby. I love you too.”
No clue yet whether Papoose has anything special up his sleeve for his baby. But, in case anyone was wondering, it seems like this Pisces couple is still going strong–despite ongoing comments about his estranged marriage to Remy Ma. It’s unclear if they’ve officially divorced yet after their explosive social media exchange in December.
