Columbus Short has secured a temporary restraining order against his wife, Aida Abramyan, following a domestic dispute reportedly involving their 10-week-old puppy. According to reports, the actor also took action after the situation allegedly left him with an injury.

Columbus Short Alleges Injury During Dispute With His Wife Aida Abramyan
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Columbus Short filed a temporary restraining order against his wife, Aida Abramyan, accusing her of becoming aggressive with him and their puppy. Short stated that on Monday, July 7, Aida allegedly roughed up their 10-week-old dog. When he confronted her, she reportedly became physically violent and struck him in the face multiple times, causing a cut above his eye and drawing blood. Short added that a concerned neighbor, who heard Aida screaming, called the police. When officers arrived, they observed his injuries and bruising and then arrested Aida.
TMZ also reported that this wasn’t the first alleged incident involving their puppy. Columbus Short explained that after he brought the dog home on June 21, Aida became upset when the dog urinated indoors and started kicking it. When Short tried to intervene, she allegedly struck him with a glass trophy.
In the court docs, Short has asked a judge to order Aida to stay 100 yards away from him and their two children. He allegedly also wants her removed from their family home.

Columbus Short also claims that his wife, Aida, verbally abuses him on a daily basis, according to TMZ. He says she has even allegedly pulled knives on him before and bitten him. The couple reportedly tied the knot in 2016 and share two children — Denzel, born in early 2017, and Liam, who arrived in 2020, per Yahoo.
