If “move in silence” was a person, it would be WNBA baller Candace Parker. She was trending earlier today after revealing that she and her wife, Russian basketball player, Anna Petrakova are expecting a baby! Many were surprised to find out that Candace was married. The Chicago Sky player shared a photo standing next to her daughter, Lailaa, and Anna with a cute baby bump on the ‘gram.
Candace wrote a lengthy message as the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary. “Happy Anniversary Моя жена! 2 years ago, I got to marry my best friend in front of our close family and friends. My heart could have exploded. I cried like a baby….To know me or you is to know our love. This journey hasn’t been easy. I am proud of us and what we have built and who we have grown to become both individually and together,” Candace wrote. She continued thanking Anna for always loving 12-year-old Lailaa as her own, being her calm, support, voice of reason, and more.

Candace has a lot to be thankful for outside of her second child. As we previously reported, the 35-Year-Old won her second WNBA title in October in her first season with the Chicago Sky. It was also the Sky’s first championship. Candace previously spent 13 seasons of her career playing in Los Angeles for the Los Angeles Sparks and won a title in 2016.
Reports show that Candace and her daughter Lailaa are extremely close. Lailaa was the reason Candace decided to join the Sky. Right now much details haven’t been shared about the sex of the baby, but we’ll keep ya’ll posted!
