The Couple’s Five-Year Relationship
According to Ice Cream Convos, Barnes and Sims have been together for five years. The couple shares a 4-year-old son and each has children from previous marriages. Sims has three sons from a previous marriage to former NFL player David Patterson. And Barnes has twin boys from a previous marriage to Gloria Govan, as reported by the outlet.
The couple began a romantic relationship, after their respective divorces, in 2017. However, in 2019, the couple split. And Barnes was served with a restraining order for allegedly mistreating Sim’s children, as previously reported by The Shade Room.
