C-Murder Responds After Monica Implied He Broke Her Heart

C-Murder Responds After Monica Said She Was Left Heartbroken Again

It seems like C-Murder peeped Monica‘s desire to create distance between her name and his. On Tuesday (Dec. 12), the incarcerated rapper took to social media with what seemed like a lil’ clapback for the ‘So Gone’ singer.

C-Murder, whose legal name is Corey Miller, shared his thoughts in the caption of an Instagram feed photo of himself.

“I don’t know why someone feels the need to publicly bash a person that’s fighting for their life,” C-Murder wrote, adding question marks. “I am a black male fighting and hoping for freedom one day.”

He didn’t name-drop his estranged ex. However, Miller’s post comes a week after Monica stepped into The Shade Room to confirm she’s moved on from him.

Monica Previously Implied C-Murder Broke Her Heart Again

The singer had stepped out to Nelly’s recent birthday celebration alongside her new bae. She went off when the roomies pressed the singer about her red carpet date named Anthony and her status with C-Murder.

“@shantelledominica93 OMGGGGG I haven’t said his name in 2 yrs can y’all follow my leadlike y’all did when I brought him up. One band, one sound,” Monica exclusively wrote on TSR’s Instagram feed.

In a follow-up comment, she implied that C-Murder broke her heart again.

“Well, here it is in short! I learned yet another valuable lesson! I went through it, got over it, now I can laugh about it. Life continues,” Monica wrote in TSR’s comment section.”

As previously reported, Monica revealed she was working behind the scenes in 2020 to get C-Murder released from prison amid witness recants.

At the time, she explained connecting with Kim Kardashian about his case and learning its ins and outs via his lawyer. Miller is serving a life sentence in Louisiana for a 2002 murder.

In her comments, she told fans he “has representation to one day be free” before encouraging everyone to”move forward” from their brief rekindled romance.

Rapper Puts Out Call-To-Action Against “Racist” Prison

C-Murder didn’t refute what Monica said about getting her heart broken again. Instead, he challenged people, including celebrities, to be invested in the more significant cause of freedom.

“Wanna speak on something?? Let’s talk about freeing us Louisiana inmates still held illegally and unconstitutionally by a racist Jim Crow law through a non-retroactive 10/2 non-unanimous jury. Facts.”

He then redirected “all celebrities against racism” to visit a website to sign a petition “for freedom.” That can be found here.
