DaBaby Released From Jail Following Miami Arrest

TSR Updatez: DaBaby is a free man, for now, following his arrest in Miami earlier this week.

DaBaby has been behind bars since Thursday when he was arrested for his alleged connection to a strong arm robbery. He is currently facing a battery charge.

He reportedly was released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correction Center in West Miami-Dade, Saturday night, after a warrant for his arrest from Texas was withdrawn, according to WSVN.

That warrant was actually the reason why his bond was withheld in the first place. DaBaby was told by a judge Friday morning that he was to remain in jail due to an open case in Texas for what the judge described as “organized criminal activity.”

The Texas warrant reportedly stemmed from a fight DaBaby was allegedly involved in at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. DaBaby and a friend were accused of attacking an employee who was working at a food stand there.

It was reported that he was supposed to be extradited back to Texas to handle that case, so it’s unclear what changed or if Dallas authorities dropped those charges.

As far as his Miami arrest, DaBaby is being accused of robbing a concert promoter of $80, a credit card and an iPhone, according to the arrest affidavit provided to us by the Miami Police Department. The report also alleged that someone doused the victim with apple juice.

The report stated that the alleged scuffle was over a money dispute. The promoter told police that he handed DaBaby $20,000 but DaBaby claimed he was owed $30,000 for a concert he was supposed to perform at on Thursday.

The report says a second victim was also punched in the face. According to the arrest report, DaBaby has denied any involvement in the robbery.

He is due back in court this Tuesday so we’ll be sure to keep you posted on any updates.
