It looks like DaBaby will have to get comfortable in jail at least a little while longer. Following his arrest in Miami for his alleged involvement in a robbery Thursday, DaBaby found out in court this morning that he won’t be released anytime soon due to another open case in Dallas.
DaBaby made his first appearance before a judge Friday morning regarding his most recent arrest. It was then where he learned that the judge decided to hold him without bond because he has an open warrant in the state of Texas for what the judge described as “organized criminal activity.”

The Texas warrant reportedly stems from a fight DaBaby was allegedly involved in at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. DaBaby and a friend are being accused of attacking an employee who was working at a food stand there.
Authorities are reportedly currently working on DaBaby’s extradition to Texas to handle that case.
Now as far as his Miami arrest, we reported this morning that DaBaby was arrested late Thursday for battery in connection to a robbery investigation.
The details from the arrest affidavit provided by the Miami Police Department revealed that DaBaby allegedly robbed a concert promoter of $80, a credit card and an iPhone. Then someone allegedly doused the victim with apple juice.
The report stated that the alleged scuffle was over a money dispute. The promoter told police that he handed DaBaby $20,000 but DaBaby claimed he was owed $30,000 for a concert he was supposed to perform at on Thursday.
The report says a second victim was also punched in the face. According to the arrest report, DaBaby has denied any involvement in the robbery.
