Darius Daulton Jackson Calls God "Greatest Ally" After Baptism

Darius Daulton Jackson Suggests He Got Baptized, Says God Is The “Greatest Ally”

It seems like Darius Daulton Jackson has grown tired of wanting to share his side. He revealed that much in an Instagram post, where he also suggested he recently “repent” and got “baptized.”

In his words, “saving” himself was just the “first step.”

“There’s A LOT I can say but not allowed to say. And at this point, don’t even want to say. I will say, however, that God is & will always be your greatest ally. I have put my trust, patience, timing & entire life onto him so that I can continue to get through the days. Lord Jesus has been with me throughout & has strengthen me to the point where I am continuing to push forward & not looking back. He’s surrounded me with friends & family that has always been there as well as sending me love from many individuals who have reached out. And for that, I thank you,” Darius wrote in his caption.

The post featured a recap video of Darius Daulton Jackson participating in fitness training on different days. His gym footage also shows him putting his ripped abs on display. Meanwhile, the voiceover on the montage clip is a viral preacher moment about talking to God.

He closed his caption by saying:

“Extremely blessed to have repent & be baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus. But the work doesn’t stop, there’s so much I have to do in order to be fulfilled. Saving myself was the 1st step.”

Darius also added “ACTS 2:38” to his caption, referencing the following Bible verse:

“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Darius Daulton Jackson Gives Life Update Amid Pushed Court Date With Keke Palmer

Darius Daulton Jackson didn’t clarify if a judge had forbidden him from speaking his side or if it was a personal choice.

However, his life update comes weeks after he shared a “thankful” post featuring images and videos of his son Leodis. Darius Daulton Jackson welcomed the infant with ex-girlfriend Keke Palmer in February. The gratitude post and Thursday’s (Dec. 14) update are the only feed posts Daulton has shared since his public fallout with Palmer in November.

As previously reported, a judge granted Keke temporary custody of Leodis and a restraining order against Darius on accusations of physical, emotional, and manipulative abuse. The breakout incident occurred on Nov. 5 when Keke alleged Darius Daulton Jackson had entered her home without permission and engaged in a verbal and physical tussle with her over the pick-up of their son.

The situation led Keke Palmer’s mother, Darius’s mother, and his brother Saraunas Jackson to get involved and even issue public statements. To note, Jackson has denied the allegations listed in court documents.

The former pair was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5 to revisit the restraining order. Then, on Dec. 1, Keke Palmer reportedly filed to postpone the hearing until they reach a resolution in mediation, per Page Six. Darius Daulton Jackson must continue to maintain 100 yards from Palmer and their child until the hearing is rescheduled. Mediation between the exes reportedly began on Nov. 29 and will continue on a “mutually agreeable date.”
