DC Young Fly Shares Heartbreaking Message About Grieving His Late Girlfriend Jacky Oh Two Years Later (PHOTO)

It’s been a little over two years since Jacky Oh passed away following complications with a cosmetic procedure. But for her loved ones, notably DC Young Fly, grief is still hitting hard. The comedian recently took to Instagram with a heartbreaking message about losing his ex-girlfriend. His paragraph spoke about his pain and how he manages to push forward.

DC Young Fly Talks About ‘Fighting Forward’

As mentioned, DC shared his post via Instagram on September 25 with a popular photo of them. The image sees the couple sitting courtside at an NBA game, smiling at the camera as DC Young Fly leans on Jacky’s thigh. In the caption, he opened up about his lingering grief, admitting to missing her touch, their walks, and their talks about life and love. The entertainer also admitted to learning how to feel comfortable in what’s not!

“Sometimes I catch myself saying life aint fair.. but thats not gonna change nun so I figure out how to deal with bein uncomfortable I still catch myself from time to time cause I cant do nun about it and Im solution-based and the solution aint the solution I wanna deal wit but I have to cant fight nor be frustrated,” DC Young Fly wrote.

DC admitted to being “too weak” and without answers. So, he turns to God for guidance on every level. “…With the strength that GOD has granted me with I kno I will be ok everyday is a fight.. chin up chest out Im ready to fight,” he said.

DC Previously Shared Words About Being “Positive” While Grieving

About a month after Jacky Oh’s death, DC Young Fly spoke with TMZ about how he was feeling. He gave the glory to God, saying that’s where he got the strength “to keep going” and take care of his kids. He said staying connected to God and prayed up is his “key to life.” He added, “…never let the tragedies and stuff that you’re going through bring you down.” At the time, though, he also admitted to crying all the time about Jacky Oh’s death.

Later in 2023, when Jacky’s birthday came around, he and his loved ones hosted a lovely celebration. He later penned a beautiful prayer in her name on social media.

“Remove any negative energy, remove any doubtful thoughts. Remove any unrighteouness. And we pray that you continue to just keep me and my loved ones healthy, safe and protected. And we know that Jacquelyn is safe, Heavenly Father.”
