DDG is getting ready to drop some new tunes, and he tapped a ‘Baddies’ star to help him bring the vision to life. Social media was lit with reactions to behind-the-scenes photos of the streamer and Ahna Mac.
DDG first announced his new track, ‘What U Bad For,’ on Nov. 7 with a video featuring four women. They all seemed to be in a home listening to the track and vibing out.
The snippet caused a lil’ conversation on social media, too, given that he released it after his son’s mother, Halle Bailey, called him out. At the time, she was “highly upset” that DDG had Halo on Kai Cenat’s stream without telling her beforehand. She later seemingly apologized for overreacting, and then DDG dropped the snippet.
While some worried the song snippet was shade toward Halle, DDG later stood ten toes behind Halo’s mom. He asked the trolls to take a step back and pledged to continue giving her grace and support.
“Halo is the biggest blessing in my life. And I don’t remember what life was like before Halo. And I wouldn’t have him if it wasn’t for Halle. And for that reason alone, I have unconditional love and respect for her, that nobody can really change,” DDG said last week.

DDG & Ahna Mac Link Up For Video Shoot
On Nov. 11, DDG seemingly revealed that Ahna Mac would be featured on his song ‘What U Bad For’—or, at least, in its music video.
She followed up his post with more behind-the-scenes footage, including photos of them lying cozy on a couch and smoking. Swipe below to see the snapshots.
