Halle Bailey recently pulled out her mama bear claws over Halo! The ‘Little Mermaid’ actress seemingly threw jabs at DDG after he showed up with their son to stream with Kai Cenat.

Halle Suggests DDG Did Not Communicate About His Whereabouts With Halo
On Nov. 6, clips started circulating online of Halo and DDG joining Kai while over 219,000 people watched Cenat’s stream. One video shows DDG walking into Kai’s room with his and Halle’s son inside a black bag.
Cenat appeared excited by Halo’s presence and gently greeted the baby before rushing off to find them a seat. Meanwhile, Daddy D pulled Halo out of the bag and held him in his arms and then on his lap. Kai, still excited, told the infant that he was his uncle as the baby sat quietly. Later in the stream, Kai Cenat questioned DDG about Halo’s habits as a baby and gifted him toys and baby essentials.

It’s unclear how Halle Bailey found out about Halo appearing on Kai’s stream, and she did not clarify that point. However, she made a few others. In her short social media statement, the mother of one clarified that she is currently “out of town” and didn’t “approve” of her son being on a stream. Bailey revealed that she was extremely upset by her child’s exposure to the internet and her inability to protect him.
“I wasn’t told or notified, and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town,” Halle Bailey wrote.
Within two hours of posting, Halle Bailey’s tweet had over 11,000 reshares, more than 4,600 comments, and at least 80,000 likes. In a follow-up post that has since been deleted, Bailey opened up about experiencing post-partum depression and needing boundaries. Back in April, she also opened up about feeling PPD.
“As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. Nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap,” she wrote.
Halle Returns To Social Media
Amid folks debating her posts, Halle deactivated her social media accounts, including X and Instagram.

She later returned to X to address her first reaction to seeing Halo on Kai Cenat’s stream. Halle admitted that she might’ve overreacted with her initial posts about Halo’s guest appearance.
“Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. Thank u Kai for the gifts for Halo.”

Social Media Shares Divided Reactions To Halle’s Halo Concerns
Halle’s posts on Wednesday appear to be the first time she’s indirectly called out her ex-boyfriend for having Halo online. When the couple split, DDG was the first to report it online in early October. The actress never addressed the breakup on social media or in the media — though fans suspected she might via her music. Instead, she shared a photo dump on Instagram that showed her spending time with Halo in the recording studio and practicing self-care, such as exercise.
If you haven’t peeped by now, Bailey is known for being private. Her need for privacy has sparked a few viral moments in the last year, especially after she publicly denied her pregnancy in order to keep it private. In January, the former couple finally confirmed they had welcomed Halo. However, they didn’t share a first look at his face until July.

DDG Thanks Kai Cenat After Stream With Halo
DDG has yet to react to his ex-girlfriend’s public shade. However, amid his, Halle, and Halo’s trending status, he thanked Kai Cenat. On X, he wrote, “W gifts me & Halo appreciate it bro @KaiCenat” and shared a photo of Halo’s new toys and baby essentials.

As mentioned, DDG’s daddy duties antics have been going viral since the couple decided to reveal the infant’s face this past summer. Last week, though, he dragged a social media user who accused him of using Halo for fame. The X user made the accusation after DDG shared a photoshopped flick of Halo in adult-size teeth.
“I never understood this narrative when my son can’t even talk yet. He’s ‘famous’ rn because of his parents. If ur dad posted you when u were young, no one would care lol,” the dad wrote at the time.
This is the second time Kai Cenat’s platform has been at the center of controversy this week. Before Halle popped off over Halo being a stream guest, Kodak Black was in the hot seat. The Florida rapper went viral for his twitchy and spaced-out behavior while kicking it with Kai and his online community.
