Deb Antney Says Gucci Mane ‘Couldn’t Stand’ Nicki Minaj Because She Wouldn’t Sleep With Him

Deb Antney, former music manager of Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj,recently appeared on Math Hoffas My Expert Opinion podcast. And revealed new information regarding the two rapper’s relationship.

You know what hurt me? Gucci couldnt stand her. He didnt like Nicki. Because he couldnt f**k her. He didnt like her! But for you to give these big-ups to the shit that he did? That shit was crazy! He aint do nothing for you! He didnt even like her!

Antney, who is also the mother of rapper Waka Flocka Flame, recalled a time when she added a Minaj feature on one of Gucci’s songs.

He had a fit when I had her getting on a record. But I wanted all of them to work together because were a family, so we all have to be together. It cant be any of this.

The Former Music Manager Says Gucci Mane Is “Selfish”

Antney went on to call the “Lemonade” rapper “selfish.”

Hes very selfish. Hes very much to himself. I dont even understand how he gets to sign artists. I never let artists sign to other artists… because they not gonna let them become bigger than them.

Antney’s Story Contradicts A Prior Claim Made By Gucci

According to HipHopDX, Gucci Mane claimed to have slept with the Queens-bred rapper in a derogatory 2013 tweet.

Gucci Mane added that he was responsible for moving Minaj to Atlanta.

At the time, Minaj responded to Gucci’s claim quickly shooting it down.

According to HipHopDX, Minaj added that Gucci was “fighting so hard” for “relevance.”

The Pair’s Current Relationship

According to the outlet, Gucci Mane and Minaj squashed their beef in 2017. The two appeared on a song together called “Make Love.”

Antney and Gucci Mane’s relationship, however, has remained estranged. The outlet reports that Gucci Mane accused Antney of stealing a song from him, in his 2017 biography. Andgiving it to OJ Da Juiceman.
