Emani Richardson was not holding back on Reginae Carters podcast, Its Heir Time. The 19-year-old daughter of Scrappy and Erica Dixon kept it all the way real on her ongoing beef with Bambi and why shes still calling her that lady after their 2023 social media fallout. Emani also spoke on whether her issue with Bambi has affected her relationship with her. Heres what she said on the situation
The shade was clear as day as Reginae mentioned Bambi by name, only for Emani to shut it down real fast. We do not say people names of people we dont like, she declared in the interview, continuing to stick to that lady. When she was then asked what sparked the nickname, Emani clarified it wasnt personal. It was about keeping her familys business private.
She explained that fans on Instagram Live stay pressing her about her parents or Bambi, especially when things are rocky. When youre on Live and somethings not right in your family, theyll continuously ask you about the person or the conversation, Emani said. Shes even had to ask people to stop digging into her parents lives, not out of rudeness but to set boundaries.
One stream, in particular, got Bambi heated when Emani brushed off questions about her. I was like, Dont ask me about anything else. Dont ask me about that lady, she recalled. Emani saw it as a respectful dodge, but Bambi took it as shade, sparking their 2023 clash where Bambi claimed Erica got physical with her. Emani wasnt having it, standing firm for her folks.
Shes disrespected my mother, shes disrespected my father. And if you disrespect them, you disrespect me, she explained to Reginae.
When it comes to her siblings, Breland, Xylo, and Cali, whom Scrappy shares with Bambi, Emani says she has no beef with them. She made it clear theres no bad blood, saying her bond with them hasnt changed despite the circumstances. I feel like my relationship with my siblings is still what it was before, Emani shared. While some things theyve said may have caught her off guard, shes not sweating it.
Theyre kids, theyre innocent, they didnt do anything to me, and I didnt do anything to them, and theyre my blood. I would never, she emphasized. Emanis heart for her siblings remains open, even if tensions arise. Additionally, she says she believes her siblings will eventually understand her side, just as shes navigated the drama with their mom.
I will always love them, but its a place of understanding because I went through the same thing with their mother, and theyre gonna see that too, she said.
