Emani Richardson Reveals Her Timeline For Having Children
For context, Emani is the eldest child on both her mother’s and father’s side. She’s one of five kids Scrappy co-parents, including three he shares with ex-wife Bambi, and his youngest with a woman named Shakira. Emani is also an older sister to twin sisters,
Eryss and Embrii, whom her mother gave birth to in 2019.
That said, a clip from Emani’s livestream began circulating over the weekend. In it, she opened up about whether she wants children in the future. After reading the question from one of her viewers, she wasted no time revealing that Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon have made her “not want kids like that.” And if Emani changes her mind about having children, one thing’s clear: no ring, no babies.
“Y’all my parents have made me not want kids like that. I’m getting married, and I have to be married for at least three years before I have the baby…,” Emani said.
Richardson continued, pointing to her dad’s failed marriage to Bambi. The couple dated on and off for several years before getting married in 2017 and later divorced in 2023. Bam and Scrappy each celebrated with divorce parties that went viral. Emani said their marriage “scared” her because “it was cool, and then it just went to shhhh.” She admitted that she doesn’t want to be like that.

Still on the topic of her parents, Emani Richardson seemingly suggested that Scrappy and Erica have too much pride in relationships. She doesn’t want the case to be the same for her.
“My parents and the people I’ve seen them in relationships with, they have too much pride. When I’m in a relationship with somebody, I don’t want to have pride. I don’t want to feel bad that I want you back and I feel like I’m wrong. I feel like we have too much pride,” Emani Richardson said, pointing to her dad’s and her own generation.
The 20-year-old implied that people in new-age relationships “don’t even try” and jump straight to breakups and divorce. Elsewhere in her livestream, Richardson talked about men being “slow” and how a woman should handle her man. She also advised that in dating, women should stop giving second chances and that mothers shouldn’t coddle their sons. Emani used her dad, Lil Scrappy, as an example of a man who thinks he’s “the prize,” saying that he’s “not.”

Meanwhile, Emani’s parents have yet to weigh in on what she shared about dating, relationships, and having kids. Her father has been caught up in balancing daddy duties with multiple women, namely Bambi and Shakira, and enjoying his new relationship with his realtor bae, Britney Sims. Most recently, the mother of his youngest, Shakira, blasted Scrappy for allegedly keeping her and their son Kyrie away from his siblings’ birthday party at Sims’ alleged request.
