Roommates, the drama surrounding ‘Love & Hip Hop’ stars Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels has increased significantly within the last few weeks, as allegations of cheating, neglect, and abandonment have been at the center of the estranged couple’s marital issues. Well, now, it appears that Erica Mena is in a better place following an emotional post on social media regarding her newborn son’s health and Safaree’s absence.
Taking to Twitter, Erica Mena made a quick post to update her fans on how she is doing after such a drama-filled week with her estranged husband Safaree out in Jamaica celebrating his birthday, while she remains in the NICU with their infant son, Legend.
“No more hurting me. I officially remembered who the f**k I am again,” Erica wrote. Fans recently flooded her social media pages after she posted a video and caption detailing her struggles dealing with her son’s current health issues and being all alone while doing so.
As we previously reported, fans finally got to see what caused the breakdown between Erica and Safaree’s marriage during the season premiere of ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.’
Erica accused Safaree of no longer being as interested and committed to being a husband and father now that the reality of his responsibilities has officially set in. She also said that she has been operating as a single parent because he rarely offers to help her with their young daughter, Safire.
Meanwhile, Safaree said that his attitude comes from the fact that he never imagined that being a husband and father would be so much hard work. He stated that things between him and Erica are not like they were in the beginning, and the fun of their relationship is gone.
