During the stream, Speed appeared to get upset following an interaction with some Argentine fans in the stands. According to CBS News, the 21-year-old creator confronted a fan in an Argentina jersey after hearing comments directed at him. The fan, speaking in Spanish, allegedly told Speed to “go cry to the zoo.”

FIFA Releases A Statement Following IShowSpeed’s World Cup Stream
Following iShowSpeed’s stream, FIFA has stepped in. They revealed that they have launched an investigation after streamer IShowSpeed was allegedly subjected to a racist remark.
“According to FIFA, they immediately began looking into the situation. In a statement, FIFA condemned racism, hate, and discrimination in all forms.
