Georgia police rolled up to her home for an attempted burglary, but they ended up cuffing her after finding marijuana in the house. Now the Memphis femcee is speaking out in her first TV interview since the incident, and she’s putting Georgia authorities on blast for how they handled it.

GloRilla Calls Out Georgia Authorities Over Arrest & Burglary Incident
GloRilla and her lawyer recently sat down with WSB-TV, discussing their frustrations about how authorities handled her July home invasion. At the time Glo was performing during WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis when three intruders broke into her Forsyth County home in the middle of the night. One of her family members reportedly fired a shot at the burglars, but they fled the scene before cops arrived. The rapper said she’s choosing to speak on the incident now, because she feels the cops flipped the script on her family when they should’ve been protecting them.
“I feel like me, and my brother and sister, we were victims in this situation,” she said. “But somehow, they’re trying to paint us out to be suspects, and I just feel like it’s all the way wrong.”
Glo’s Legal Team Says Cops Failed Her & Her Family
Glo’s lawyers Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg, didn’t hold back on sharing their thoughts on how police handled the home invasion. Findling said he couldn’t believe cops barely did anything after the break-in especially with over $700,000 worth of Glo’s items stolen. Instead of investigating, police went after her and issued a warrant for marijuana possession.
“The most egregious part is that there seems to be no movement whatsoever in this home invasion, but rather, within 24 hours, there were warrants for her arrest for a marijuana possession case. That’s unconscionable,” Findling said.
Here’s What Led To GloRilla’s Arrest & Details On Her Charges
According to WSB-TV, Forsyth County deputies responded to a 911 call about a burglary at GloRilla’s home on Saturday, July 19. Glo wasn’t home when three suspects broke in and stole jewelry. While checking out the house, officers caught the smell of marijuana and called in a drug task force, which executed a search warrant. TMZ reports the team found a large amount of weed in the master bedroom. That discovery led to Glo facing charges for possession of marijuana over one ounce and possession of a scheduled controlled substance. She turned herself in at Forsyth County Jail on July 22 and bonded out shortly after for $22,260. Soon after her mugshot went viral on social media, Glo took to X (formerly Twitter) to speak on the incident.
“CRAZY‼️ My House got Home Invaded Saturday. While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of Focusing on finding the Suspects, they focus on some cannabis. 1. So no I wasn’t busted 2. My house got robbed 3. I wasn’t home,” GloRilla wrote.
Additionally, she doubled down on not being present during the break-in.“Long story short my house gets home invaded and Im the only one that gets arrested. So that’s tea🤷🏼♀️.”
