Gypsy Rose Blanchard has reportedly detailed her last phone conversation with Ken Urker as her ex-husband, Ryan Anderson, has reacted to Urker’s passing.
According to US Weekly, on Monday, October 5, Blanchard took to her Instagram Story. This, to share a few words for the public.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out with love, prayers, and condolences. I’m sorry I can’t respond to every message, but please know I see them and am so grateful,” she wrote before directing the public to her petition against cyberbullying.
On Saturday, October 3, Blanchard spoke exclusively to US Weekly, revealing her last conversation with Ken Urker.
“During my final phone conversation with Ken on Monday, September 28, he told me that he was deeply distressed by the situation,” she said, referring to her feud with his sister Autumn. “[He] said that Autumn had repeatedly threatened to go harder publicly and further contribute to the negative commentary and scrutiny he was already experiencing. Those were Kens statements to me, and I can only speak to what he personally communicated.”
In a separate statement, Blanchard reacted to Autumn recently telling the Daily Mail that she had lied about being engaged to Urker and that they were planning baby number 2. Additionally, Autumn claimed that her brother was “terrified” Blanchard would not keep their daughter safe, and was “humiliated” by her. Furthermore, Autumn even alleged that Blanchard hadn’t even contacted their mother following Urker’s passing, per US Weekly.
“At this time, I do not want the focus surrounding Kens passing to become centered on negativity or disagreements between Autumn and me. It is no secret that Autumn did not approve of Kens relationship with me, and there has been significant tension between us, including public comments she made about me in the months leading up to his passing. Right now, my priority is grieving Ken, supporting our daughter, and honoring his memory. I remain in communication with Kens family, and aside from my relationship with Autumn, those communications have been positive and respectful during an incredibly painful time,” she said.
Meanwhile, on Friday, October 2, Ryan Anderson, Gyspy Rose Blanchard’s ex-husband, reacted to Ken Urker’s passing. Per US Weekly, Anderson appeared on ‘The Sarah Fraser Show,’ and shared that he found out about Urker’s death via Instagram.
“I found out through Instagram. I didnt believe it at first. I was like no,” he said.
Furthermore, Anderson noted that he was shocked. Then began to wonder how it happened.
“My immediate thought went to, ‘Hows Gypsy?’ My immediate thought was, ‘Hows she doing. And what about their kid?'” he recalled.
As the conversation continued, Anderson admitted he “never saw eye to eye” with Urker. However, he still hated hearing that Urker had passed away. Ultimately, he explained that he and Blanchard haven’t spoken in a year. Therefore, he reached out to her father to make sure everyone was okay.
“I texted Rod, her dad. I said, ‘Hey, man, Im hearing this news. If its true, tell Gypsy Im sorry. Im here if she needs me.’ I was always somebody who could make her laugh when she was sad or give her comfort,” Anderson said.
Ultimately, Anderson reportedly noted that his “main concern” is Blanchard and her daughter.
“[My] main concern is Aurora and Gypsy and his family. I care. I wish her the best,” he said.
