Anthony Joshua Shares Heartbreak After Tragedy
The boxing star has paid tribute to his close friends Sina Ghami and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele, who were tragically killed in a car crash in Nigeria. The incident reportedly happened on a major road near Lagos when the vehicle they were traveling in—alongside Anthony Joshua and another passenger—collided with a stationary truck. Those close to the champ say the loss has hit especially hard, as both men were considered family, not just colleagues or friends. On Sunday, it was reported that Joshua attended a funeral service at a mosque in London. And, on Thursday, he took to Instagram to honor his fallen brothers. In a post featuring a sketch of his two late friends portrayed as smiling angels, Joshua accompanied the image with an emotional caption:
“Thank you for all the love and care you have shown my brothers. I didn’t even realise how special they are. I’ll just be walking with them and cracking jokes with them, not even knowing God kept me in the presence of great men. 100% it’s tough for me, but I know it’s even tougher for their parents I have a strong mind, and I believe God knows their hearts. May God have mercy on my brothers.”
