When it comes to speaking her truth, Jania Meshell never holds back. The social media star recently sat down for a new YouTube Q&A where she got real about love, independence, and what shes no longer willing to tolerate. And lets just say, she had a lot to get off her chest.
Jania Meshell got real about her past relationship with Dejounte Murray, revealing that she often felt like she had to dull herself to make things work. The influencer admitted that because of her outgoing personality and his quieter nature, people on the outside didnt always think they were a good match though she reminded fans that what they see online doesnt always reflect who someone truly is behind closed doors.
She went on to share how dating someone with money shifted her mindset, making her realize the importance of staying independent and maintaining her own identity. Additionally, Jania opened up about her pattern of getting into relationships and only focusing on her career again once things ended. But this time around, she wants to always have her own thing going and continue making moves for herself.
Jania also opened up about co-parenting with NBA YoungBoy, saying their routine is surprisingly simple and drama-free. YoungBoy simply reaches out when he wants to spend time with Kacey, handles the pickup, and later brings their son back home. When it comes to dating again, though, Jania said the biggest red flag shell never overlook is “control.” She explained that growing up without a father made her once confuse control with care, but now she knows the difference. And shes focused on keeping her peace, her freedom, and her independence.

She called out what she described as double standards and emotional neglect, saying it was unfair for him to complain when she and her kids were flying out every weekend to visit him in Vegas for months.
Jania opened up about how the situation took a toll on her mental health, thanking her grandmother for stepping in to help when things got rough. She also clapped back at his parenting comments, claiming shes the one who handles most of the childcare, saying, When have you ever had Iceby yourself? The influencer went on to say she literally cried at dinner trying to communicate her feelings but felt ignored, even calling him a narcissist. Despite all the drama, Jania ended her post on a bittersweet note, reminding him that she supported him through everything but admitted that during her pregnancy and after, you proved you didnt like me.
