Jasmin Brown is not here for the nonsense! The comedian, whos ready to pop any day now with her second child with Cam Newton, took to her Instagram Stories to shut down folks obsessing over the skin color and hair texture of Black newborn girls. Heres the tea on what went down!
On Thursday, July 31, Jasmin Brown got real on her Instagram Stories, addressing the wild comments about her unborn baby girls appearance. People are so obsessed with their skin color and their hair texture, she said, visibly over it.
From the moment people found out I had a girl, theyre like, Does she have hair? Im like, No, not really. She was bald-headed. She had two lil pieces in the front. And theyre like, Oh, shes going to have a lot of hair. And its, like, okay?
Jasmin didnt hold back, spilling how folks kept pressing her about whether her daughter would have her mommys or daddys hair texture. Whats her complexion? Why are yall so freaking critical of little Black girls? Its disgusting. Shes a baby, she snapped. She shook her head at the camera, clearly fed up with the questions about a baby, adding, What is wrong with yall?
Sis is not playing with these intrusive questions as she nears the end of her second pregnancy.

Back in May, Jasmin had the internet buzzing with a Mother’s Day surprise when she announced she was expecting Cams ninth child. She dropped a cute baby bump photo on Instagram, glowing and cradling her belly, with a caption that read, Feeling ALL the Love, kicks and elbows cheers to our growing tribe. #happymothersday #watchjazzy #bestfriendinyourhead.” She announced her pregnancy with their first child together back in October 2023 before going on to welcome a daughter in February 2024. It’s worth mentioning that the couple has never disclosed their daughters name to the public.
