Jasmine Bleu is clearing the air on a private matter involving her and Kirk Frost‘s eight-year-old son, Kannon. She shared a statement on social media about Kannon being accidentally locked out of their apartment while she slept.

Additionally, The Shade Room obtained an exclusive clip of Kirk Frost speaking to a police officer after he was called to pick up Kannon. At this time, Kirk’s rep has said he won’t address the incident.
In contrast, Jasmine Bleu detailed what happened and took responsibility for the situation. Her statement was up for a few hours on Instagram Stories before being deleted on Saturday (August 24). The mom began by confirming the “events” that happened on Wednesday (August 21).
Also, Jasmine credited Kirk Frost for playing a “significant role in [her] son’s upbringing.” She then explained that Kirk had Kannon that day while she was filming a scene. After she arrived home, Jasmine claims Kirk dropped off Kannon, and she went to sleep “shortly after.”
“Later that night, my ex called to let me know he had accidentally left Kannon’s book bag in her car and asked if Kannon could come to the lobby to retrieve it. When Kannon stepped out, he locked the front door behind him, using the building’s chirp system, which automatically locks the door. Unfortunately, he left his phone inside the house, which meant he could not unlock the door when he returned. At that time, I was asleep and unaware of the situation.”
Jasmine said Kannon repeatedly told “those around him” that his mother was in the house but allegedly wasn’t believed. She added that the people her son was speaking to made “assumptions” about her whereabouts based on social media posts from earlier in the day.
“Even though building maintenance and officers had access to my apartment, no one thought to let him in to wake me up. Instead, they contacted Kirk, who eventually picked Kannon up,” Jasmine stressed.
Jasmine called the situation “unfortunate” and said she takes “full responsibility,”
“Nothing like this has ever happened before, should never happen again, and will not happen again. I hope this clears up any misunderstands and provides context as to what happened.”

It’s unclear who contacted 911 and how the information to contact Kirk Frost about him and Jasmine’s son was obtained. As mentioned, he’s declined to comment. Both he and his wife, Rasheeda, have kept it mum on social media.
The clip of Kirk speaking to an officer briefly shows him explaining their custody negotiations state. In a longer clip reviewed by TSR, Kannon was near his dad in the lobby. The version below has been shortened in consideration of Kannon’s minor age and privacy.
Jasmine shared additional posts on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, as did Kirk. But none of the content was related to the incident with Kannon. It’s unclear when and if the eight-year-old got back with mom after the Wednesday mishap.
