Jayda Cheaves is once again trending after hopping on TikTok to address some unsolicited commentary about her appearance. And lets just say…she wasnt holding anything back. The influencer used her platform to respond directly, setting the tone for a conversation that quickly shifted from criticism to transparency.
In the clip shared to her TikTok, Jayda stitched a video of a userwho appeared partially off-camera and in bedquestioning what happened to her face while also commenting on aging. The moment didnt sit well with Jayda, who responded with a pointed and you ’bout to be a nurse? paired with a stank face, while recording from her luxury bathroom in a black tank top with hair clips in.
Jayda also went on to explain that shes currently on Accutane, which she says is helping clear her adult hormonal acne. However, she admits that it comes with noticeable side effects. Jayda shared that she started the medication in January and emphasized that she believes in being open about her skin journey, even on days when things dont look perfect, because she still shows up online with confidence and self-love.
As soon as the clip hit timelines, folks ran straight to TSRs Instagram comment section to weigh in with their unfiltered takes. Some called out the nurse in the video for hiding her face while coming for Jayda. While others were quick to gas Jayda up, saying shes still that girl regardless of what people say. Meanwhile, a portion of users pushed back on the negativity altogether, reminding everyone that people should be a lot kinder when commenting on others looks online.

This isn’t the first that Jayda has kept it real with her supporters. As previously reported, Jayda opened up while wearing a white headband and speaking directly to the camera about the state of her relationships and the emotional toll behind them.
She reflected on how some connections have felt more transactional than genuine, admitting that her naturally giving nature has often left her feeling taken advantage of. Fighting back tears, she also took accountability for her experiences, saying, I fault myself 100% because I allowed these things to continuously happen, a moment that quickly struck a chord online as she reminded viewers shes been transparent about this journey before.
