Mike & Sheila Play Too Much! Jill Scott & Richard Jones Recreate ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ Moment (VIDEOS)

Roommates, Richard Jones and Jill Scott are cuttin’ up this week with some nostalgic acting. Some actors can play a role a lil’ too well, making viewers hold on to character grudges. That’s definitely the case for Richard’s character, Mike, and how he treated his wife-to-ex, Sheila, in the ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ films.

Richard Jones & Jill Scott Open ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ Scars

So, here’s a brief recap of Mike and Sheila’s messy marriage in the first ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ There’s a heartbreaking scene in the film when Mike tells Sheila she has to drive to their couples’ cabin trip rather than fly on the plane. He gives her a few dollars and flies to the getaway with another woman named Trina. Later, at the dinner table, we learn the woman is actually his mistress. In response, Sheila smashes a wine bottle on Mike’s head.

In an Oct. 18 post, Richard T. Jones shared a selfie video ofhimself shaking his head while sitting on a plane. The video had the text,“POV: I had to make Sheila drive again.”Hecaptioned the post, “IYKYK.”

The scene is 17 years old, y’all. But The Shade Room’s roommates weren’t feeling Richard’s jokey joke. Throwing salt in our movie wounds!

@ceairra.wright wrote, “Mike, don’t piss me off it’s Friday.” While @uadorelai added, “Not you trauamtizing us twice.”

@coopdajuice joked, “The ladies will never forgive him for that.” And @marty_sandiego added, “This is why we still don’t like you.”

@imitationbyjerell dropped a wine bottle GIF in the comment section, while @theonealsway said, “They do got a good sale on Shutter Home Wines today.”

Ms. Sheila, AKA Jill Scott, circled the block with the perfect response to Richard, though! Filming from her car, Scott called Mike out for leaving Sheila hanging again.

“I can’t believe it. I cannot believe that Mike would do this to me again. Well, I’m gonna get up this mountain. I’m getting up this mountain,” Jill Scott said with a lil’ emotion in her voice.

Angela & Marcus Enter The Chat

Remember when we said we learned Trina was Mike’s mistress at the dinner table? Well, it was Angela who exposed the secret before popping off on her man, Marcus, after Mike exposed that Marcus had slept with his first children’s mother.

Now, Angela and Marcus, real names Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White, have entered the chat with the nostalgic clip.

Their video starts with Angela watching Sheila’s video in the car (the post Jill Scott made in reaction to Richard), and then Angela calls over Marcus!

“I am so sick, I’m telling you, I’m sick of him. Marcus! Marcus,” Tasha said, doing her character justice. Michael shuffled over, just like Marcus always does. “Baby can you believe that he did this to Sheila again? I am so sick of him. Can you believe it,” she asked him. He gon’ say, “No. Yeah,” and then Angela went IN, and Marcus got it together. Watch their hilarious improv scene below.

Diane Delivers!

Sharon Leal didn’t lag too behind her co-stars! Leal, who plays the character Diane in the ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ films, shared her own improv scene on social media. In the post, she talked about not missing her husband Terry’s birthday — the character played by Tyler Perry.

“Alright, I set my alarms. I got several; I am not going to forget my husband’s birthday this year. I learned this the first time around. You will not catch me forgetting anything like that. My career takes a backseat to my beautiful, amazing, wonderful husband and family. This time no.”
