Kai Cenat Previously Announced His Upcoming Jail Stint

The 21-year-old appeared on Instagram Live with rapper Nicki Minaj earlier this month. During their conversation, Cenat mentioned he was “about to go to jail.”

As Minaj reacted with shock, Cenat questioned the rapper, “You gone bail me out or nah?”

Minaj then asked Cenat why he was going to jail, to which he replied, “7 days — it’s crazy.” Additionally, Cenat explained that his upcoming stint had nothing to do with him being arrested after allegedly inciting a riot in New York City in August.

Then, late last week, Cenat published the trailer for his upcoming livestream.

“7 DAYS IN🗓️ I Will be spending 7 days in jail on stream 24/7 cameras on at all times, See you there…”

The video clip also seemingly revealed that celebrities such as Druski, Offset, Chrisean Rock, NLE Choppa, and others would appear during Cenat’s 7-day stream.

Moments From The 7-Day Stream Thus Far

According to the trailer, Cenat’s “7 Days In” stream kicked off on Friday, October 27 at 6 p.m. EST. Since then, X users have documented various moments from the live stream, which include Offset reportedly refusing to join Cenat.

Other moments include Druski keeping things comedic.

And rapper DDG, who reportedly escaped the mock jail.

Additionally, X users captured moments of the participants poking fun at a guard, Druski terrorizing his cellmates, and Cenat leading a dance battle, among many others.

Social Media Shares Mixed Reactions

As Cenat’s stream remains ongoing, social media users have weighed in with their reactions. Some don’t understand “the point” of Cenat’s mock jail stream, while others criticize Cenat for “cosplaying jail to thousands of young viewers as if it’s fun.”

Others have shown defense for Cenat by explaining that if viewers “dislike” his decision to stream from a mock jail, they should “shift” their perspective on watching shows such as ’60 Days In’ and ‘Love After Lockup.” One social media user even went so far as to criticize those who “listen to murder raps every day.”
