The Rapper Shares How His Family Plans To Move Forward After His Dad’s Sentencing

As the conversation continued, King Combs was asked to share how he and his family plan to move forward once Diddy’s sentencing is decided.

“Like I said, we feel like just moving forward with positive vibes, love. Me? My tape just dropped. I got videos dropping. My sisters got a clothing line coming out. My brother Quincys into acting, Justin business. My little sister Chan, shes in college right now, going to NYU. Baby Love is growing up. So, yeah, just, you know, continuing to live life and just bring positive vibes to the world,” he explained. “I think thats just the main focus.”

Furthermore, King Combs explained that he recently visited his dad behind bars. He noted that the visit wasn’t in the “ideal place.”

“We dapped up and all that. At least its not like behind the wall, but its definitely not it,” he explained before noting the advice Diddy shared with him. “It was really just to be positive and not let everything thats going on get to me. And, you know, dont react off of emotion. Just be me and do whats true to myself.”

Here’s What’s Happened Since The Diddy Verdict

As The Shade Room previously reported, in July, Diddy was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. However, he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. To note, the verdict centered on Diddy’s tumultuous romances. One with Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. And another, with a woman known as “Jane Doe.” Ventura and Doe both testified to his alleged actions at trial.

That same day, Judge Arun Subramanian denied Diddy’s legal team’s request for him to be released on a $1 million bond, per The Shade Room. Instead, the 55-year-old’s tentative sentencing date was scheduled for October 3 at 10 a.m. Nonetheless, the denial hasn’t stopped Diddy’s team from seemingly working overtime to bond him out from behind bars. On Wednesday, July 30, his legal team filed a motion requesting his retrial or acquittal on all charges.

As we wait for a decision on the matter, King Combs has shared whether he thinks his dad and the Bad Boy brand can “bounce back.”

“Yeah, for sure. Were definitely gonna keep going. Like, I said, ‘Never Stop.’ We cant stop, wont stop, and were going to just continue to spread love and hopefully receive that back,” he told Billboard.
