Will Ky Frost Be Charged?

T-Hood was shot on Friday (August 8) at a residence located near Snellville, Georgia. Police received the 911 call at about 7 p.m. local time and found Tevin shot at the scene. At the time, cops claimed there was no active threat to the public. They were also investigating the case as a homicide, revealing that the shooter had remained on-site after the incident. T-Hood was taken to a hospital, but ultimately passed away from his injuries.

Now, it’s reported that the male shooter was Ky Frost, Kelsie’s half-brother. So far, officials have not filed charges against Ky Frost, despite identifying him in a news release, per AJC. A police report revealed that Ky and other witnesses cooperated with investigators.

“Preliminary information indicates that a domestic disturbance occurred at the residence, resulting in a female victim sustaining physical injuries,” the report said.

AJC reports that a Gwinnett police rep confirmed Ky Frost is the only suspect, and they aren’t looking for others. Instead, they’re investigating whether the shooting was an act of self-defense. Spokesman Cpl. Juan Madiedo said Ky pulled up to the house T-Hood was in, and “removed himself” after realizing there was a domestic dispute happening. The shooting happened sometime after that.

Kelsie Frost Denies Any Involvement In Boyfriend’s Death

As mentioned, Kirk Frost’s daughter Kelsie was dating T-Hood when he died. It’s unclear if the domestic dispute police mentioned was between her and Tevin. After the news of his death hit the internet, fans began speculating that she could be involved. Amid grieving, Kelsie clapped back at the allegations. She denied that she harmed him or asked anyone to. At the time, she did not name her brother as the shooter.

“I cant sit back and let this narrative being created go on. The love of my life is GONE. I am sick to my stomach. I dont wish this on anyone. I dont even have time to grieve or say my respects in the right manner because I am defending myself, being attacked by the people who are creating weird and sick rumors,” Kelsie Frost wrote.

She shared a feed post featuring photos and videos of her and T-Hood. In the caption, she wrote, “Just come get me baby please..Ÿ™ I cant even type this. I love you papa. I cant wait to hold you again.”

Kirk Frost Declines To Comment While T-Hood’s Family Prepares For His Funeral

AJC reached out to Kirk Frost for comment on Ky Frost being a suspect. The ‘Love & Hip Hop ATL’ star replied with a screenshot of the police department’s update about the self-defense takeaway. Additionally, Kirk sent a link to a related article and social media video.

Meanwhile, T-Hood’s family is preparing to say their final goodbyes. Aysia Bandy, T-Hood’s alleged sister, started a GoFundMe fundraiser with a $6,500 goal. As of Thursday, they’ve raised $4,800. The fundraiser’s description shared details from the shooting that police have not confirmed. For example, the description claims seven bullets struck T-Hood and that Gwinnett County cops haven’t done enough to track down the killer.

“We wont stop until justice is served not just for Tevin, but for his daughter, his mother, his sisters, his grandmother, and every person whose life was changed forever the moment he was taken. We are raising funds to cover funeral expenses, provide for Tevins young daughter, and seek legal aid to ensure justice is served. His passing was sudden, tragic, and has left our family devastated.”

T-Hood rose to local fame with his songs ‘Perculator’ and ‘Ready 2 Go,’ released in 2020 and 2022, respectively.
