Lana Del Rey Talks About The Backlash She’s Received In Response To Her Post About Her Music & Further Explains Her MessageĀ

It looks like Lana Del Rey is not ready to move on yet when it comes to her recent message about her releasing music. As we previously reported, Lana took to social media to release a statement about her releasing music while denying the narrative that she glamorizes abuse in her music.

While making her point she named a few well-known female artists to prove her point. In her original post she said, artists such as Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, BeyoncĆ©, and Nicki Minaj and others had number ones with songs about “beingĀ  sexy, wearing no clothes, f*cking, cheating, etc.”

She then proceeded to ask the culture, “Can I please going back to singing about being embodied feeling beautiful by being in love if the relationship is not perfect or dancing for money- or whatever I want- without being crucified or saying that Iā€™m glamorizing abuse?ā€

Many fans didn’t take her message well and she received some backlash for some of the things she said. She later clarified what she meant,

On Monday, Lana had some more to say about the topic and wanted to further explain her message.

She posted a lengthy video and said, ā€œHey, so I donā€™t want to beat a dead horse and I donā€™t want to go on and on about this post thing. I just want to remind you that in that post, my one and only personal declaration Iā€™ve ever made – thanks for being so warm and welcoming – was about the need for the fragility in the feminist movement.”

She continued to clarify her previous statements.
