This week, Lil Scrappy told a throwback story about being robbed while going through his divorce from Bambi. In particular, he pointed out how his ex-wife reacted when he called her about the incident. Now, social media is debating whether Bam reacted how she should’ve!

Scrappy Recalls Being Robbed In Atlanta
As mentioned, Lil Scrappy was on social media chatting with his supporters when he slipped into the story about being robbed. At the time, Scrap was driving his ex-girlfriend Diamond’s car.
“I got robbed when I was going through my divorce with shawty…it was like two weeks before Christmas. Me and her got to going at it like on texts or DM or something like that and that sh*t f**ked with me, because I never been married, never been divorced. So I’m going through this, hurting like a motherf**ker and I’m drinking like sh*t. I’m in a cigar bar. Diamond had let me use her whip,” Scrappy revealed.
He explained that he left the cigar bar and got on the freeway but somehow ended up back on the same road he had left. As he was driving, a car allegedly hit him from the back. Scrappy said that Diamond’s car went into a tailspin and ended up in a ditch. At that point, a man came up to the car and “bust both of the windows, demanding that Scrap get out the car. The rapper admitted that he was “drunk” and couldn’t understand what was going on.
“The n***a grabbed my chain, and he started yanking,” Scrappy said, finally realizing that he was being robbed. In reaction, he started swinging at the alleged robber–something he advised no one to do. “I ain’t see nothing; I ain’t even look for nothing,” the rapper said, adding that the robber started firing gunshots, which made him freeze.
Bambi Reacted Like THIS To The Alleged Robbery
In part two of Scrappy’s storytime, as shared by Live Bitez, Lil Scrappy said the gunshots scared him. “I froze up; I ain’t super tough. I could tell I ain’t super tough; once that happened, I could tell…,” he added. Scrap said he immediately offered up his jewelry and what he had in his pockets, and both robbers fled the scene.
He later implied that Bam was unfazed by his robbery experience when he told her about it. “Cuz said ‘why you ain’t call the other b***h,'” Scrap recalled, adding that he explained that she should know that he survived “some crazy sh*t.” He added, “I was like, God bless my motherf**king soul.”
In the comment section of part two, Bambi replied with a GIF of Soulja Boy’s viral story about a home invasion on VladTV. The GIF shows Soulja exaggerating the firing of a gun.
What’s Tea With Bambi & Scrappy These Days?
The rapper claimed that the incident happened two weeks before Christmas while they were going through their divorce. To be clear, the timeline of the incident is a little murky. Scrap didn’t specify the year this happened, but the couple spent at least two holiday seasons going through it. Bambi filed to end their marriage in November 2022, but the negotiations weren’t finalized until July 2023. That month, the former couple hosted separate divorce parties. Meanwhile, he and Diamond first popped out together again in June 2023 and seemingly continued to kick it until at least October of that year.
Diamond has not spoken out about Lil Scrappy’s video. Diamond has since moved on from Scrap and welcomed a child with her fiancé, Deven Reese Paulsen, last year.
Aside from her comment on Live Bitez, Bam seemingly let the story slide. She is also getting married to her new man, Rayface, who proposed in March at her 39th birthday bash. Tensions between her and her ex-husband have been shaky on social media, particularly after she dissed him for engaging in a trash-talking conversation with Spice about her music. She even exchanged some heated words with Momma Dee, who clapped back on her son’s behalf. Even Shakira, the mother of Scrappy’s youngest child, inserted herself into the melee.
Most recently, Lil Scrappy challenged Bam and his mother to keep his name out of their mouths. Ironically, his lil’ storytime above came AFTER he made that demand.
