2025 has been the year many celebs chose to lock in their love for their partners. From courthouse weddings to long-awaited forever moments, all of these stars were ready to take the next step. From Jalen Hurts tying the knot after winning the Super Bowl to Demi Lovato marrying her boo Jordan Lutes in a lavish Santa Barbara ceremony, these celebrities spared no coins. Not to mention Jussie Smollett proposing to his longtime boo, and Coco Jones gagging us all with her engagement news over the summer! Oh, and don’t sleep on Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good! 2025 delivered a beautiful new chapter for celebrity couples! Roommates, here’s the recap.
Demi Lovato And Jordan Lutes
Demi Lovato has married her husband Jordan Lutes. The couple exchanged vows in May at the Bellosguardo Estate in Santa Barbara, California, surrounded by their loved ones. The oceanfront villa, which, as seen in social media videos, has breathtaking Pacific views. It set quite the stage for a magical ceremony for the former Disney Channel star. Demi, wearing a custom Vivienne Westwood gown, had previously gushed about her connection with Jutes months before getting married, saying:
“I live and breathe for our connection. I see growing old with him,” she told Teen Vogue. “It’s very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring.”
The wedding celebration featured some celebrity friends. This, including a lively reception where none other than our girl Paris Hilton DJed before Demi and her man were sent off in a Cadillac. Her wedding comes amid news that she’s gearing up to release a new album, so it’s fair to say that 2025 has been quite the year for Ms. Lovato — or, shall we say, Mrs. Lutes.
Dwight Howard And Amy Luciani
Chile, Dwight Howard, and Amy Luciani decided to make the big leap and get married in a secret January 11th ceremony, weeks after their December 2024 engagement. If you recall, speculation had first arisen when Lil’ Scrappy posted a video of the pair with a caption on his Stories, claiming they had gotten married. The couple’s romance, initially flaunted on social media, seemed blissful with family trips and love-filled posts showing them all boo’d up.
However, the fairytale ran into some public bumps. Luciani reportedly filed for divorce on July 1 in Georgia, citing an “irretrievably broken” marriage with “no hope for reconciliation.” Luciani has since requested privacy, saying, “Please give us grace.” In the midst of all that, Luciani leveled strong allegations against her estranged husband, accusing him of abuse. She was reportedly seeking alimony and half of Howard’s $140 million assets, per Complex, hinting that a prenuptial agreement may not have been in place prior to saying “I do.”
The apparent separation left many social media users gagged. However, Dwight and Amy appear to be turning things around. In September, Amy shared a social media post seemingly hinting that she and Dwight were on better terms.
Then, in September, Dwight paid tribute to his wife, honoring her while accepting his induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
