Congrats! Former Crime Mob Rapper Diamond Gets Engaged (Video)

Last month, Diamond’s love life update came a few weeks after she blasted her ex-boyfriend Lil Scrappy and his former fiancée Erica Dixon. In an interview with Carlos King, the former Crime Mob star accused Dixon of “eating” from ‘Love & Hip Hop: ATL’ because of her. She suggested Erica was a second choice after she rejected the opportunity.

“But you [Erica Dixon] have no motion, your story’s been under renovation for how long. You’re not getting booked. You was never the main chick, you was always number two. I got the ring first. Why are you so invested in your first baby daddy, when you should be trying to figure out what’s going on with your second baby daddy? Or why you had these kids knowing he was in a relationship with a whole other woman?”

 

When Scrappy seemingly defended Erica Dixon, suggesting that Diamond was mad that he didn’t want to be with her, she retaliated. She released December text messages from Scrappy admitting his love for her and asking to spend time with her son.

Elsewhere in the Carlos interview, Diamond opened up about why she chose to have an abortion with Scrappy and how it ultimately, and to this day, affected their bond.

Keep in mind that between June and September 2023, Scrappy and Diamond sparked rumors of rekindling their early 2000s relationship. In addition to spending time on red carpets, a video shared by Diamond showed they were bonding behind closed doors.

Still, in January 2024, Scrappy disassociated himself from all the women in his past when he declared he was happily single.

That disassociation included Erica, after the former couple (who share a teen daughter) were spotting spending quality time together in the second half of 2023. Yes, after Diamond and Scrappy spent their time. Scrap and Erica’s outings, from Hawaii to the spa, Usher’s Las Vegas residency show, and bringing in 2024 at the club, had folks thinking they were spinning the block.

But according to Scrap, this single period in his life is the happiest he’s been in a hot minute.
