According to Fandom, Erica Dixon was born on October 12, 1984, in Atlanta, Georgia. Per the outlet, Dixon was raised alongside six brothers and three sisters. Additionally, the outlet reports that Dixon and her siblings were raised by her aunt and uncle in Hempstead, New York.

However, in December 2023, she did make headlines for congratulating her younger brother, Hakeem Jordan Pulliam, on graduating from Albany State University. In her social media post, she noted that she and Pulliam share the same father.
