Jackson State HBCU Sonic Boom Serves ‘Folded’
The Sonic Boom of the South brought Kehlani’s smooth vibes to the field with their rendition of ‘Folded.’ Their precision, energy, and soulful horns made this performance feel like an instant classic. Back in September of this year, their crisp blue fits, along with the majorettes, had us ready to turn up in the club on a Tuesday.
Jackson State HBCU Also Slayed Tyla’s ‘Water’
Throwing it back to 2023, JSU had us all gagging with their cover of Tyla’s ‘Water.’ Rockin’ their iconic blue fits, the band’s instruments were shining like they stepped right out of the music video. And, the majorettes were straight-up serving baddie energy. Fans are still talking about the flawless mix of vocals and horns that had the whole stadium ready to turn up.
