Prosecutors originally hit Lil Durk with five charges tied to murder-for-hire and interstate stalking. Meanwhile, the jury found his co-defendants, Deandre Wilson and David Lindsay, guilty of the stalking and stalking conspiracy charges but acquitted them of remaining charges. Although the jury found Durk not guilty on all charges, he won’t be coming home just yet. Durk will remain behind bars as he awaits his second trial on related racketeering charges. According to Complex, the trial is reportedly set to kick off on October 5.

Now, the Grammy Award winner faces allegations that he ran a criminal enterprise connected to violence and drug trafficking. The case also reportedly includes a charge under the VICAR statue, which stands for Violent Crimes in Aid of Racketeering Activity. Additionally, Durk and his co-defendants face a sixth count connected to an alleged murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo. Prosecutors claim the alleged plot ultimately led to the death of Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, also known as Lul Pub.
