After celebrating his daughter’s first birthday and allegedly ignoring his newborn’s arrival, LiAngelo Ball is turning heads again! In a podcast sit-down with his brothers and a friend, Gelo revealed his regrets about leaving his family with MissNikkiiBaby. He also admitted to no longer liking his estranged wife, Rashida Nicole, which sparked a spicy comeback from her.

LiAngelo Ball Shares Regret Over Ending Relationship With MissNikkiiBaby
In February 2025, MissNikkiiBaby told The Shade Room and her Instagram following that LiAngelo Ball had abandoned her and their two children, LaVelo and LaNiyah Ball. At the time, their daughter wasn’t yet two months old and Nikki admitted to feeling blindsided. The couple had allegedly gone from planning family photos to him confessing via text message that he was dating a new woman (Rashida) who was expecting a child. Before that, he had allegedly packed a bag, moved out of their shared home, and hadn’t contacted her or their kids, she told TSR. “I hope it was worth losing his family,” MissNikkiiBaby wrote on IG at the time.
Fast forward to now. It appears Gelo feels like the romance with Rashida Nicole was not worth it after all. He spoke on the topic about 26 minutes into episode five of ‘Ball in the Family.’ Although it was released on Tuesday, it’s unclear when the episode was filmed—and whether it was before or after the birth of his newborn daughter with Rashida Nicole.
LiAngelo shared that he left MissNikkiiBaby because they couldn’t get on the same page. They had allegedly been disagreeing about where to live, where their kids would go to school and who would be the caretaker when they each had to travel for work. Ultimately, they couldn’t decide on the “…grown-up sh*t.” Months later, though, Ball appears confused about his decision.
“I don’t know. If I could re-do it, I would’ve whopped my own a** forreal, like I would’ve stayed there,” LiAngelo Ball said.
He added that MissNikkiiBaby, whose real name is Nikki Mudarris, is “cool” with him, and that he had admitted these same thoughts to her.
“I told her straight up, n***a I was tweaking. I don’t got no excuse for that sh*t or nothing but yeah if I could re-do it, I wouldn’t do that sh*t,” Gelo said.
The ‘Tweaker’ rapper said he didn’t confide in anyone, as he’s the type to live in his own world. Ball said when he started to really think about his values, he realized the situation was “trash.”
LiAngelo Says He No Longer Likes Rashida Nicole
For context, in February, Rashida Nicole was going hard behind LiAngelo Ball, from accusing Nikki of “playing victim on the internet” to calling her family racist. She even claimed that “half the time” MissNikkiiBaby didn’t have her children, and that LiAngelo did not abandon his little ones. In that same month, Rashida Nicole showed off a tattoo honoring Gelo while he posted a selfie of them online. The following month, he gifted his new bae a luxury vehicle, and in June, she announced her pregnancy after months of speculation. A few weeks later, on July 3, LiAngelo Ball filed for divorce. He listed their wedding date as March 24 and their separation date as June 15, suggesting he left her before her baby bump reveal. It’s unclear where the paperwork stands, but he requested joint custody and visitation rights while asking for the termination of spousal support on either end.
