Dawn Richard: The Collaborator
Dawn Richard, once a member of girl group, Danity Kane, and a key figure in Diddy’s ‘Making the Band 3,’ has since emerged as a voice in experimental R&B. After parting ways with Bad Boy Records, she embarked on a solo career, releasing a trilogy of concept albums—’Goldenheart’ (2013), ‘Blackheart’ (2015), and ‘RedemptionHeart’ (2016)—that explored themes of identity, heartbreak, and rebirth. In 2021, she released ‘Second Line: An Electro Revival,’ a bold fusion of New Orleans bounce, house, and R&B. Furthermore, Dawn released her 2022 collaboration with Spencer Zahn, ‘Pigments,’ blending ambient, classical, and jazz elements. And, continued with their 2024 follow-up, ‘Quiet in a World Full of Noise.’
Additionally, Dawn dropped fashion-forward collabs—from a sunglasses line with Coco & Breezy to a capsule shoe collection and even a USB necklace. On the visual side, she linked up with Adult Swim, leveling up in 2020 as a creative consultant focused on spotlighting Black animators and artists. And, she recently performed an ethereal, genre-bending set at SXSW 2025 that reaffirmed her status as a boundary-pushing artist.
Capricorn Clark: One Of Diddy’s Former Assistants
Capricorn Clark’s tenure as Diddy’s personal assistant was marked by close proximity to the mogul’s operations. However, her final departure from his team in 2018 was followed by a series of legal battles and public statements that have shed light on the darker aspects of working within Diddy’s inner circle. In 2025, Clark testified in a federal trial, detailing allegations of abuse and misconduct during her time working for Diddy. Though Capricorn Clark has retained a relatively low profile, it doesn’t seem she is married or has any children. Additionally, it appears she has continued working in the creative industry through branding + direction as listed on her Instagram bio.
