Starting strong — Daphne Joy is her model and entertainment name. Her birth name is Daphne Narvaez, per PEOPLE. She was reportedly born in Olongapo, Philippines, but has Filipino and Puerto Rican heritage from her mother and father, respectively. Joy was raised in Los Angeles.

Between 2011 and 2012, Daphne publicly dated a 2000s rap sensation who know produces hit-shows like ‘Power’ and its spin-offs. The relationship was short-lived. However, a few months after their split, she gave birth to their first son together and named him Sire. He is 13 now.
3. Daphne Previously Dated Jason Derulo
After her relationship with Sire’s dad ended, Daphne Joy entered into a romance with singer Jason Derulo. According to PEOPLE, the relationship lasted about six months, from their first sighting together in November 2015 to his rep confirming the breakup in May 2016. Two months before the split, he said Daphne Joy “has an understated personality,” adding that he loves that about her.

4. She Starred In A ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Movie
Daphne was previously cast as one of the mermaids in the 2011 film, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.’ She was one of eight mermaids featured in the movie, which she called “exciting.” The movie’s premiere was her first “huge red carpet.”
“…It’s a nostalgic character, so the fact that I was cast as a mermaid was so exciting and the fact that I can be a little bit evil and mysterious was awesome too,” Joy said in a red carpet interview.

5. Daphne Joy Was Named In Lawsuit Against Diddy
In February 2024, producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones filed a $30 million civil lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of sexual harassment, sexual assault, trafficking and unpaid wages. The court docs identified Daphne Joy as a “sex worker” who had received payments from Diddy. She denied the lawsuit allegations about her, calling them “100% false” in clap back posts on social media.
“I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit,” she wrote on IG Stories. “The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney.”

6. Social Media Believes She's "Jane" Witness From Diddy's Trial
In June 2025, a woman under the pseudonym “Jane” testified against Diddy at his sex trafficking and racketeering trial for about six days. She claimed to have been in a three-year relationship with Combs, describing a romance that developed into financial dependence and sexual encounters involving other men.
As reports of “Jane’s” testimony spread, the internet began highlighting the similarities between her and Daphne Joy, who had previously publicly claimed Diddy. “Jane” had revealed that she had a young son and that his father and Combs have prior music industry beef. Sire’s father later added fuel to the speculations with his social media posts, though he never explicitly named Daphne Joy. Nonetheless, the court nor the media ever officially confirmed whether Joy was “Jane.” Also, shenever addressed the speculations or claimed to be the witness.

7. She Promotes Explicit Content On Social Media & OnlyFans
Following the leak of the sexually explicit tape, Daphne Joy released a statement, clarifying that she never consented to being filmed. She called the footage triggering and painful, adding that she was never in her “right mind” throughout “that” relationship, seemingly meaning Diddy. “I wish so many things were different but I can’t take back the hands of time,” she said in her statement.
Despite her heartfelt statement on Monday (June 1), Daphne has continued to push her sexually explicit content. Before the leaked tape, her Instagram feed was already loaded with OnlyFans teasers, including her posing in barely-there lingerie. In her IG Stories on Monday, she dropped her OnlyFans link, which fans noted has an 85% discount. Meanwhile, on her feed, she dropped a video of her in white intimate wear, fully exposing her buttocks.
